Gesture Synth reads your hand through the camera and turns simple finger gestures into chords. Hold up one to four fingers to play, close your fist to pause, and raise or lower your hand to shape the energy of the music.

Hand Height
Raise your hand for more energy
Where you hold your hand in the frame controls the intensity of the performance. Lift your hand higher to brighten the sound, open up the drums, and energize the visuals. Lower it for a softer, more stripped-back feel. Small movements create subtle dynamics—sweep your hand from low to high for a dramatic build.

Every music style has its own four-chord progression. The same gestures always play, but the mood changes completely.
Tips for the best tracking
Lighting
Face a soft, even light source such as a window or lamp. Avoid strong backlighting behind you—silhouettes make your fingers harder for the camera to read.
Camera Angle
Keep the camera at roughly chest or face height, pointing straight at you. A stable laptop or propped-up phone works better than holding the device in your other hand.
Hand Position
Hold your hand inside the camera frame with your palm facing the lens and fingers spread. Keep some space between your hand and your body so each finger is clearly visible.
