Gesture Synth uses your camera to track hand movements so you can play music. Camera processing happens locally in your browser. Your camera feed is not uploaded, recorded, stored, or transmitted by Gesture Synth.

When you close the tab or disable camera access, the video stream stops. You can revoke camera permission at any time through your browser settings.

Gesture Synth uses Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Plausible/Pageview, and MakeThisBetter to understand aggregate usage, diagnose errors, collect feedback, and improve the product. These providers may process technical information such as your IP address, browser or device information, pages visited, and referrer information under their own privacy policies.

The core music tool remains available without an account. Camera video is not sent to these analytics providers.

We use cookies or similar browser storage for language preferences, session features, and analytics. You can manage or clear these through your browser settings; clearing site data may also sign you out or reset preferences.

Cloudflare provides hosting, security, and delivery for this site. Cloudflare may process standard request information and provide aggregate Web Analytics under its own policies.

The core Gesture Synth music experience does not require an account. If you voluntarily use an optional sign-in feature or email us for support, we process the information you provide to deliver that feature or respond to your request.

Gesture Synth does not currently display third-party advertising. If we introduce advertising in the future, we will update this policy and provide any notices and consent choices required by applicable law. For personalized Google advertising in the EEA, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we will use a Google-certified consent management platform.

Camera video is not retained by Gesture Synth. Analytics and infrastructure providers keep data according to their own retention settings and policies. If you have a privacy request, contact us and include enough information for us to identify the relevant request.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing of your personal data. Contact us with enough information for us to identify the relevant request. You may also manage analytics cookies through your browser settings or the applicable provider controls.
